My approach ...
I offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space. My style is warm, empathetic, kind, and creative. I also bring acceptance, interest, and care, guided by the belief that the therapeutic space offers you a private and confidential way to explore your desire for change.
My way of working has attracted a diverse range of people, each bringing their own unique circumstances. This allows me to incorporate various modes, ideas, and methodologies into our sessions that are tailored to your needs; you are at the centre of our work, not a specific technique or approach. This principle is fundamental to being a Psychosynthesis Counsellor: recognising the unique individual.
Counselling is most effective when you set aside a regular time, such as weekly, to focus on yourself. My clients often find that this rhythm encourages a new perspective, benefiting them beyond our sessions and supporting their process of change.
Seeking therapy is a brave step, and choosing a therapist you feel comfortable with is the initial step.
Our initial 50-minute session will serve as a starting point: to meet, understand how we might assist you, see how I work, and determine the next steps. Moving forward, we will meet weekly for subsequent 50-minute sessions. All session fees start from £80.
These sessions can be either short-term or long-term, depending on the help and support you are seeking.
